A Sketch for California

California's state animal is the bear and I love those redwood trees. With that intro, here is a quick drawing from my #draw50states challenge.

I'm retro posting here and I recall wanting to really show the enormous size of a redwood tree.  That's  not easy on a small piece of paper but I think the bear added the perspective I was after.   This was done with regular old colored pencils.
