New Mexico Hot Air Balloons
New Mexico is the hot air balloon capital of the world. So I picked it for my #Draw50States project. I painted this picture back a year ago (August 2015).
I wanted to try something with the style of inked lines and watercolor. I also used pastels in the sky as an experiment. So I guess you could call this a multimedia piece.
I really enjoyed working on the balloon. I drew it using a photo I took the previous winter as a reference.
